The Valley Council HHS Diversity – Equity – Inclusion Capacity Building Work Group (DEI Workgroup) is charged to build and strengthen the competencies of the Valley Council, through the lens of DEI, that can be applied in all aspects of VC HHS thoughts, actions, strategies, & outcomes. The work will include the development and implementation of position statements and written policy of the Valley Council, professional development & topic presentations for Valley Council HHS membership, and longer-term strategies with actionable goals. Embedded into all Valley Council HHS efforts, the DEI Workgroup will help guide behaviors and actions, strategies and outcomes, across all Valley Council committees, task forces, and other sub-groups of the Valley Council HHS.
